Views, London. Located within Hotel Rafayel.

On Sunday June 26th 2016, I was invited to the guest list for the launch of VIEWS at the boutique Japanese Garden at Hotel Rafayel, located on 34 Lombard Rd, London. The kindly asked us to join them for this exclusive launch and be the first to experience London’s latest hot spot taking summer socializing to new heights.
Enough said right? No? Let me reiterate. Views at the Japanese Garden is a luxury rooftop bar & shisha lounge in the heart of South West London. Providing fabulous riverside views with elegant cocktails, great food & uplifting terrace music to keep you entertained throughout those blissful weekend days!

As you approach Hotel Rafayel’s exterior their wonderful gardens speak color and life and draw toy into the friendliness that the hotel emanates. They also have a lovely front patio where you can enjoy the pleasantries of their front entrance for a smoke, drink or just to wait for people to arrive – and of course we had taken advantage of this!
Once you pass through the outer exterior and into the Hotel, you are greeted with their wonderfully pleasant and professional staff in the front lovely, as well as the warm and ambient atmosphere of the interiors that guide you upwards towards the elevator.

Summer was upon us and that means at Views it was all al fresco dining and sipping Champagne whilst enjoying long summer days in one of London’s most exclusive sky-high rooftop venues! Located south of the river with 360-degree views of the River Thames and a retractable rooftop, it is the perfect destination spot to take in the city skyline and enjoy an aperitif after work or have a celebratory evening. We went during the day so it was more of a relaxing and ambient environment which was great!
And joy – the usual London surprise when it started raining as soon as their helicopter display started – but it was not all gloom and doom. They have a rooftop interior section that is not all exposed to the air and it replicates the same pleasantries of the lobby interiors. There is an open bar, as well as lounge-like seating options and waitering service provided by the staff of Hotel Rafayel.
We (Patrish, Georgia and I) enjoyed summer beats by DJ Yann LABBE and indulged on some spicy prawn tempura and beef tataki by top London Japanese restaurant Kouzu or enjoy a smoke in the lounge with the finest shisha offered by Sequoia. It was bliss! If you ever have the blessed opportunity to head towards the southern part of the river then this is a site that definitely needs to be seen.
Onto of everything there was a cash bar that we could order food a la carte from the menu provided by top Japanese London restaurant Kouzu.
