Welcome to Vicino, an Authentic Italian based in SW6 – their Head Chef Marco Moscoloni ventured all the way from the region of Le Marche where he began his career. After 6 years in Italy, he moved to London to work at a number of restaurants in Mayfair, Belgravia and more before he found himself here, creating the beautiful dishes that you have just seen.

IMG_6915And I was lucky enough to find myself in this homely restaurant in Parsons Green in a quiet evening, surrounded by beautiful people (my beauty of a sister Dami Maj ❤ and the amazing photographer John Paul Pietrus who has shot from Coco Rocha to Icona Pop and more!) and being welcomed by the lovely manager, Amandio.

And you ever had that feeling when you walk into a restaurant and look at the food pictures and they just make your mouth water (like the ones shown above) and then you receive the plate of food and there is just this overwhelming feeling of disappointment, because it never looks as good as it does in the pictures. That’s not the case for Vicino, and here are some pictures I took, including the menu – just to prove it:

And it isn’t all about the food! Personally – as soon as I entered I just felt an atmosphere for family and friendship, the interiors remind you of a warm home and the lights bring it all to life.

And even before that, the cute and ambient red and yellows on the exterior give a very family-friendly appearance, with its vibrant name that sits well against the backdrop of the street within Parsons Green.
